Delicious - Emily's Home Sweet Home: Unable to choose Menu upgrades

Issue
The Menu upgrades cannot be selected in Emily's Garden. 

Workaround
Open the Settings Menu within the game and turn the Hints On/Off (whichever you do not already have selected).
