Game doesn't open or is running slowly

Reasons why your game may not open after it's been downloaded and installed or why it may run slowly during game play

NOTE: You may not need to try all of these steps as the issue may be resolved after the first option.

Solution 1: Check the System Requirements of the game

Go to the game description page
2.
Place the cursor over the System Requirements option
3.
Here you will see a hover message showing the System Requirements for that game

2. Select the Compatibility tab.
3. Check Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
4. Importantly, make sure you check the box run this as an administrator
5. Click Apply and then OK.

The most common drivers are listed below. Click on the name of the driver you have (if known) and follow the steps to update this.

NOTE: If you're not sure which driver you're using, download Driver Booster 3 which will help you detect your driver and any faults.

Solution 5: Add the game to your security programs allowed list

Norton, McAfee, and ZoneAlarm are three of the most popular providers of firewall software. Steps to adjust your firewall will vary from product to product, so for more detailed instructions, see the below links -

NOTE: If you are running two or more firewall programs, disable the secondary firewall and configure the primary firewall using the instructions above.
