Unable to start graphics engine

Solution 1 - Check that your OpenGL version is at least 2.1* or higher
1. Download GPU Caps Viewer 2.1 – portable version under step 2 through this link

2. After the download, make a right click on the file and choose Extract files

3. Open the extracted folder and double click on the GpuCapsViewer.exe file, then Run the program

4. Under the GPU tab, check the version number in the OpenGL section

* Some games will require a higher minimum version such as OpenGL 3.1


Solution 2 - Update/install Java

If you don't have Java installed to your computer or an older Java version is used, please download the latest Java version here. Once complete, restart your computer, uninstall and then redownload the game.


Solution 3 - Update your Graphic Card driver

The most common drivers are listed below. Click on the name of the driver you have (if known) and follow the steps to update this.

NOTE: Intel users - It's important to note that PC manufacturers (such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, and others) can modify Intel's drivers to add or remove functionalities. This means that if you have a branded device, it's recommended to download the latest graphics update from your manufacturer first, then through Intel. Otherwise, unexpected behaviors, such as loss of features and configurations can be expected.
